| The Rotary Club of Renfrew held its annual Primary 7 Quiz competition at Kirklandneuk Primary school. All 4 local primaries were represented to include Kirklandneuk, Newmains, Arkleston and St. James. In addition to the team members there were around 120 teachers, family members and supporters in attendance. After a very close fought competition, which went to a series of tie breakers, Arkleston Primary came out as winners, just pipping Newmains to the first spot. Each pupil taking part received a book voucher and a certificate and of course the winners received additional trophies. The winners, Arkleston, will now go on to represent Renfrew in the Rotary District Final in Glasgow in May. |

| Friendships were made and 'auld acquaintance' renewed when 10 Renfrew members travelled to Banbridge to help the club celebrate it's 30th year. The Friday night charter dinner was excellent and we were entertained by folk singing, musicians and irish dancers. All the members from Renfrew were overwhelmed by the warmth of friendship and hospitality shown to us, and we wish Banbridge continued success and look forward to some of them joining us to celebrate our 60th. | |||
