Bowling Evening
ROBERTSON BOWLING CLUB, RENFREW
It’s the return of our annual bowling competition. The venue is Robertson Bowling Club in Renfrew, 5.15 for 5.30pm. Before the competition got underway we were treated to a superb buffet from June and Charlie.
A keenly fought competition saw 5 teams play a round robin format. Bruce and Gary took an early lead that seemed insurmountable for most of the evening but the current champion and his able partner, Christine fought to the bitter end. While Bruce and Gary were in the club house enjoying a cold beer and anticipating their imminent winners presentation they didn’t allow for the total incompetence of David and Allan allowing Charlie and Christine the narrow victory on the evening.
